Contemporary Pueblo inlay earrings, exquisitely designed and crafted from hand cut tiles of Arizona turquoise, black jet, apple coral and sterling silver. These elegant and beautifully coloured mosaic earrings measure 56mm in overall length, including the sterling silver french wires. The various stones are inlaid on to clam shell making the earrings equally decorative on both front and back.
The gifted designer and maker of these distinctive inlay earrings is Stephanie Medina from Kewa Pueblo. Kewa Pueblo the largest of the Pueblo tribes and is also known by the Spanish name of Santo Domingo Pueblo. The village is situated between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in northern New Mexico, USA.
Stephanie Medina is the youngest daughter of the late Rose Medina and the sister of award winning silversmith Jennifer Medina. The Medina family have been making beautiful and unique jewellery for Rainmaker Gallery for many years.
