The design of this malachite pendant represents a female deity figure. The spiral or migration symbol, also referred to as a journey symbol, represents the migration path of the ancestors and the continuum of tradition through the generations and into the future.
This pendant is handcrafted from sterling silver and set with a splendid banded green, polished malachite stone. The designer and maker is Lorraine Martinez of the Kewa Pueblo tribe, also known as Santo Domingo Pueblo, in Northern New Mexico USA. The pendant measures 53mm in length including the bale.
