This Navajo bracelet by Rodger Montoya is handcrafted from sterling silver and set with a pale blue Persian turquoise gem stone.
The bracelet is constructed of several elements beginning with a tri-band cuff on which two large leaves rest, over the leaves sit a scalloped plate, stamped with sunbursts, surrounding the stone. The Persian turquoise is polished and cut in the shape of an arrowhead, for protection. The setting is encircled by silver rope work.
This turquoise bracelet is hand crafted by Navajo silversmith Rodger Montoya, in the style of his late father Louis Montoya. It marks a revisiting of the traditional forms that he was taught by his father prior to developing his own unique designs in contemporary rings.
This bracelet would best fit a medium or large sized female wrist but could be easily adjusted.
