February Showcase, 1 February – 7 March 2026

This winter exhibition brings together works by four celebrated Indigenous artists from across North America, each articulating a distinctive visual language rooted in cultural knowledge and contemporary practice.

Oklahoma-based Chickasaw artist Billy Hensley presents a series of richly textured acrylic paintings, embellished with beadwork designs meticulously hand-stitched into the canvas.

Internationally renowned Tlingit artist Preston Singletary contributes striking serigraphs that introduce a classic Pacific Northwest Coast aesthetic to the exhibition.

Marla Allison, a painter from Laguna Pueblo, spans abstraction and figuration in acrylic canvases that encompass traditional pottery designs alongside portraits of Hopi women inspired by historical photography.

Rounding out the exhibition, octogenarian Mvskoke painter Rick Grimster presents an astonishing portrait that defies description and invites deep reflection.
