This resplendent orange butterfly pin is embellished with richly coloured spiny oyster shell, pearl, garnet and golden amber all set in sterling silver. Butterfly is symbolic of beauty, seduction and rebirth. This butterfly brooch measures 6cm from antennae to tail tip with a wingspan of 5.5cm. This brooch can be pinned into a bead necklace and worn as a pendant.

Joshua Krishna Concha is a jeweller from Taos Pueblo. Taos Pueblo is a small Indian village in Northern New Mexico. It is the northern most of the New Mexican Pueblos and was historically a trading place between Plains tribes such as the Comanche and the Puebloan peoples of the Rio Grande Valley. Joshua Concha and his wife Annalisa Martinez have been making jewellery for Rainmaker Gallery since the 1990’s. As well as making amazing jewellery Joshua Concha is a keen martial artist and a talented musician.
